My Top 5 Book Boyfriends!

Hey lovely readers!

This post is really one of two that I’m posting today. The first is my review of Bookish Boyfriends by Tiffany Schmidt. So go ahead and check that out! And this one goes along with the theme of the book: Book boyfriends! This list is not in any particular order, except for number one. Because so far no one can replace him ❤ My first serious book crush! Note: This list will contain some SPOILERS!!! Alright lets get to the fun!

5. Jamie Fraser – Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon

The King of men! aka the beautiful Jamie Fraser. If you haven’t read these books or seen the TV show, you absolutely need to. Jamie is very nearly the perfect man. He would do anything for Claire and he has! He falls in love with her pretty quickly, even though she doesn’t know it and protects her from harm again and again. And he is incredibly trusting. When Claire reveals she’s from the future he believes her and he tries to get her home even though it devastates him. He is strong, proud, and sometimes stubborn. But he is also kind, compassionate, and incredibly selfless. He endures something incredibly horrendous to protect Claire and even though it should destroy him, he eventually comes back even stronger. He loves so deeply and even when time separates them, his heart, body, and soul always belong to Claire ❤

4. Nathan Cole – Off Limits Series by Chloe Walsh

Nathan is one of the many gorgeous boys from Chloe’s amazing books! And he is by far my favorite and in my opinion way underrated. He’s been in love with Andi, his best friend’s little sister since they were kids. He was always there to support her when no one else was. And even though he wants to be with her he resists, because he knows he cannot offer her the life she deserves. But when he finally allows himself to love Andi, he realizes they are just what each other needs. From then on he takes care of Andi in a way she’s always needed. He is utterly devoted to her, this rough boy from the wrong side of time soothes the soul of the hurt and lonely rich girl. Cliche? It would be if it was written by anyone other than Chloe Walsh. She makes you understand the broken parts of Nate and makes you root for the man you know he can become. Strong, proud, loving, and fiercely loyal. He’s impossible not to love!

3. Rhysand – A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas

Rhysand is someone that dazzled me right from the start, because he sounded so beautiful. Though I did hate him for quite awhile. But once ACOMAF came out, my tune quickly changed. The minute he rescued Feyre from her disaster of a wedding I knew he was special. He is truly the most selfless literary hero I have ever encountered. He has every reason to be bitter and angry after what he has encountered. Yet he continues to be kind, honest, and oh so devoted. What I love most about him is the way he loves Feyre. He treats her as an equal, never letting her feel as though she is not needed. And the beauty of it all is that he isn’t even trying to make her love him, he’s just being himself. And the fact that he allows Feyre to love him is truly a testament to his character, because despite who he could be, he chooses to be someone worthy of her love.

2. Aaron Warner – Shatter Me Trilogy by Tahereh Mafi

Aaron Warner, oh be still my heart. He very nearly overtook my number one ❤ I won’t go into too much detail here, because I’ve already written my thoughts on him in another blog post. So please check that out to understand why I love him so much! I will say this: Even when I should have hated him, I loved him. He is a beautiful soul who really just needed someone to give him a chance. And when he found Juliette, he loved her with everything he had even when she didn’t deserve it! I dare you not to fall in love with this man!

1. Adrian Ivashkov – Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead

If you don’t know who Adrian is you must go read these books immediately! Bloodlines is a spin-off of the Vampire Academy series and Adrian finally gets the spotlight! He starts out as the most irritating, selfish, arrogant boy I have ever read about. And over the course of the Vampire Academy books he makes very little progress on this front. But Bloodlines is where he really shines. He forms a spirit bond of his own, by accident, but in doing so opens himself up fully to someone. Something he has always been afraid to do. He finally allows himself to live, and feel, and experience happiness. And if you know anything about him, this is no small accomplishment for him. He is a truly good person and seeing him succeed in life is one of the most rewarding things I have ever read. Over the course of six books, he forgives, he falls in love, he protects, he rescues, and he truly becomes the perfect man. Watching him learn how to love his girl is so fun to witness and the validation he receives when she chooses to love him back is so incredibly satisfying. Adrian is beautiful inside and out, Though it’s his outside beauty that initially draws you to him, it’s his inner beauty that implores you to stay. I challenge anyone to find a Book Boyfriend more amazing than him! ❤

Honorable mention: Mr Darcy – Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. Read Bookish Boyfriends to discover why! ❤
