Hey lovely readers!
Today’s post is going to be a little survey so you guys can get to know me a bit better. It’s just some bookish questions, one for every letter of the alphabet. I found this one on Perpetual Page-Turner’s blog! I’ll post the link down below. So let’s just get into it!
Author you’ve read the most books from:
Joan Lowry Nixon! She has a ton of YA mystery novels. I was obsessed as a teen and read every single one!
Best Sequel Ever:
Oh wow this is tough! I have to say Altered by Chloe Walsh. I only had to wait like two months, but the build up was so good! If you haven’t checked out her books you should. She’s an amazing indie author!
The Diviners by Libba Bray (So freaking good!)
Drink of Choice While Reading:
Iced Tea definitely. It’s always by drink of choice, haha!
E-reader or Physical Book?
I can’t choose! I really go in phases. For months it’s only Kindle and then I’ll randomly switch to physical only for a few months.
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
Definitely Simon from The Mortal Instruments series. I was totally into the cute boys with glasses type!
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
Fallen by Lauren Kate. I was initially put off by the whole fallen angels thing, but once I read the first book I finished the whole series in like 5 days!
Hidden Gem Book:
What My Mother Doesn’t Know by Sonya Sones
Important Moment in your Reading Life:
Discovering Booktube! I met some great people, my TBR list is always growing, and I was inspired to start my blog!
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:
Definitely Sci-fi. I’ve read some, but I’m just not a fan.
Longest Book You’ve Read:
Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. I have the B&N Classics edition and it’s around 812 pages I think.
Major book hangover because of:
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Number of Bookcases You Own:
2. They are fairly big, but I need more because they are crammed with books!
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. It’s my go to comfort book. It reminds me of simpler times.
Preferred Place To Read:
In bed, it’s just so comfy! Plus then I can have all my pets with me!
Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
I have two, both from the same book. “He’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” ― Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights “If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger.” ― Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights
Half-Blood by Jennifer Armentrout. I really didn’t like this book. It felt a little forced.
Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons. They’re just so long, it’s taking forever!
Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:
Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows by JK Rowling, Haunted by Heather Graham, Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
Unapologetic Fangirl For:
Chloe Walsh! She’s absolutely phenomenal. If you like New Adult Romance you should definitely check out her books.
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. I need Rhysand in my life!
Worst Bookish Habit:
Umm sometimes I skip to the last page of a book to read it! Gahhh I know!
X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Your latest book purchase:
The Falconer by Elizabeth May
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
Altered by Chloe Walsh. it went live on Amazon at 12 a.m. and I finished it by 4 a.m.!
Okay that’s it guys! I hope you enjoyed reading this and I hope you join in the fun! You can find the original post here.
